He can't get a game under Bilic and he knows he is behind AC and the Hernandez and we normally only play one up front anyway so I'd probably want to leave as well. He's also French, aka Payet! At least the guy is being honest.

Like I said, the fact he says nobody convinced him to stay, and that he makes a point of saying he doesn't have a problem with the fans, the players or Bilic, is a clear dig at the owners.
That combined with him veing given a new contract makes me suspect that perhaps he found out the club were trying to tout him out to be sold soon after getting him tosign a new contract. It wouldn't surprise me if the wanted to earn more on his sale, hence the contract, and it wouldn't surprise m,e if the wanted to undermine Bilic as well, bu giving him a new contract. Two birds with one stone.

It doesn't expire at the end of the season as they gave him a new one whilst he was undermining Bilic.
Because they too want to undermine Bilic in the hope he resigns meaning they don't need to pay him and they can blame him for leaving them in the lurch.

Let's hope we get a fee for him in January because if we don't, he will stink the place out for a few more months before leaving on a free.
The more you hear about Sullivan's behaviour, the angrier West Ham fans should get. Apart from Sakho's near departure in the last window, we have the lies about one out,one in. Snodgrass and Feghuli were allowed to leave with no bugger replacing either.
The club is virtually disintegrating from within with relegation a very possible outcome due to the mismanagement from the very top. A hapless manager seemingly unable to stop the rot unfortunately.
Sullivan,Gold and Brady should be ashamed of the way West Ham are run these days.
